The repairs and renovations have not started yet. Apparently there's all this stuff you need first like "structural engineer plans" and "approved permits from the city."
There's not much to say about it other than it appears there is also a drainage problem that's contributing to one joist being absolutely fucked.
The process is tiring and I'm trying to get my stomach problems diagnosed again. The knowledge that there's another side of this where I'm sipping a glass of ice cold water and reading a book on my new deck is keeping me going. Also the structural repairs... those are important but not as fun.
